In order to prioritize the safety and well-being of all clients receiving services at Alberta Bound shows, we have made the decision to discontinue the practice of the Tattoo of Show trophy.
After closely monitoring three-day client projects over the past few years, it has become apparent that some artists prioritize productivity over their clients' health and safety. Reports of clients experiencing shock and requiring hospital visits during the healing process have led us to take this necessary step.
While many artists are conscientious about their clients' well-being, the actions of a few can have negative repercussions for everyone involved, potentially leading to negative publicity and
legal issues.

Tattoos that do not score well during competitions are tattoos still in a healing phase or tattoos that are healed but have been touched up shortly before competitions.
